Commemorative amenity tins feature airline’s “Flyer Friendly" brand campaignUnited Airlines today will introduce special edition amenity kits featuring the airline’s brand campaign, “Flyer Friendly.”
Available for customers in United BusinessFirst on long-haul international flights departing from the United States, the collectable tins highlight each of United's eight North America hubs.

Each customer in BusinessFirst will receive one of the eight tin designs, which feature distinctive imagery that United commissioned specifically for the brand campaign.

“These commemorative amenity kits showcase our hub cities and our flyer friendly network connecting customers to points around the globe,” said Tom O'Toole, United’s senior vice president of marketing and loyalty and president of MileagePlus.

    Thanks for posting, sobore!

These United Airlines new amenities kits for BusinessFirst remind me of the amenity tin that I was given gratis when I flew in Turkish Airlines' coach seating earlier this year!

Unfortunately I dont think I have an outbound flight from the US before the end of this promo.
I wish they would give it out for inbounds too.

To offset the cost for this Jeff Smisek announced that all lavatories in economy class will now be converted to a pay system. $2 Billion in cuts don't just appear in a tin you know.

Interesting how IAD and EWR airport codes are replaced with NYC and D.C.

    Marketing Hype at its' best!

They always say "Welcome to New York" or "Welcome to Washington D.C" every time or something like that whenever I fly into EWR/IAD.

Looks like I will just miss this promo - oh well, that is always how things go for me - day late - dollar short...

I liked their older DVD/BD case in the GFC amenity kit, but that was some years ago. We use all four of those.

EBay is going to be your friend if you really want one.

I am kind of glad I am missing this. Yet another item I would otherwise be tempted to stash away and clutter up my house with. It's not like I'd stumble over this can in 20 years when cleaning up my closet and think "oh how wonderful the friendly skies were back in 2014". At least I hope...

Time to empty out the closet and take last year's load of amenity kits, soaps, and shampoos to the homeless shelter.

Looks like the old (I don't know if they still use them) LH C kits. They probably took excess inventory and stuck labels over them.

Think I will select the EWR NYC one when I fly in mid-Jan. Too bad its not offered in both direction!

There is nothing to really select, based on the leaked FA memo on Flyertalk. You get a "random" one and the FA's are welcome to exchange it if they have what you want.

It will be interesting to see if there will be LAX/DEN/SFO provisioned on the East Coast cities.

Er-r-r, not enough to worry about it. Maybe I can charm a FA into digging in the "trash," to see if there are any leftovers. Otherwise, I will let those, who are flying in the allotted time, claim their rewards. Besides, they would just be something else to place into storage - or trade with my friends... ;)

Nah, get me there safely, and sort of on time, and treat me somewhat kindly, and I'll be cool. Still use those DVD/BD cases though.

As for the homeless shelter, it seems that you know me too well. We just cleaned out a major cache of BC/FC amenity kits, and donated them all to a shelter for battered women. Hope that they were useful. I think that we had about 30 (other than the two DVD/BD cases), and most had never been used (other than perhaps the socks), since we have our toothbrushes and toothpaste in our carry-ons.

Hey, one could always put the pre-meal nuts in them... Then, hand those out as Holiday presents, with a note - "Thinking of you."

My fiance is flying back to EWR in BF, wish it wasn't outbound only.

Love the NYC/DC replacement for EWR/IAD. They really should make the EWR say NJ friendly. I'd get a kick out of that. I still remember my flight on a 767-300ER from EWR-IST operated by JFK based sUA flight crew. Upon leaving IST the crew said, "This flight is going to Newark, which for those that don't know, is in NEW JERSEY.....blah blah.. from your NEW YORK CITY based flight crew..."
