Just booked a couple of flights with UA, my credit card statements have always shown the charge coming from UA since the merger, to my surprise this time around the charge came from "continental airlines"

Clearly the merger is a failure.

This is tongue and check, but guess I could dispute the charges with my cc co, since there is no CO airlines. :) but of course I would not do that.

I guess it's proof that the COdbaUA crowd is wrong.

I'm fairly sure that all my Amex charges since 3/3 have said Continental Airlines. It makes sense that the credit card processing for united.com came from the CO side since that rest of the website did.

Probably has to do with the backend systems that are being used. Not really a big deal. At all.
