Have not connected in LHR for years. Is two hours enough time to connect from UA to EI? LHR airport authority says connection time takes 60 min. True or False?

All Aer Lingus flights are from T1. UA flies from T4 (IAH and EWR flights) and T1 (other flights), so whether it's enough depends on where you're connecting from/to.

IAD should arrive at T1, not T4.

yes u r correct, so whether it is T1 or T4 the airport authority is saying 60 minutes, I will have just over 2 hours , again is this enough time from either terminals. The only difference is an extra step from T4 with a bus ride.

Two hours should be plenty of time. I did T1 to T4 last year and it took maybe 45 mins (most of which was spent waiting in line at security). It might take you a bit longer if you need to stop by the transfer desk to pick up a boarding card.

Likely plenty of time, though things can always go wrong. As annoying as the bus transfers are they at least run reasonably often.

I might book the flight from LHR to DUB after the original connection flight there by giving me 3 hours to do the connection, call always relax in the lounge, no hurry to get to DUB as probably won't be able to check into hotel until after 1pm.
