UA Scheduling Computer Malfunctions

    It's getting to the point that these failures should be given names if only to keep track of them, akin to the National Weather Service with hurricanes. Maybe we should skip A though I and start at J. I know of a name that start with J that we could use.

    And perhaps even more embarrassing....

    "UA Scheduling Computer Malfunctions"
    For when have they scheduled they next computer malfunction?

    "The new technology required three passwords, said a United captain, and was prone to crashing. Once logged on, he found it difficult to navigate and the information that was available was largely out of date."
    I don't like for my captain to be using things that are prone to crashing. And I prefer that my captains not have trouble with navigation.

    Captain, I gave the failures a few choice names earlier this week when I couldn't book tickets and had to call.;)

    Nothing related to the scheduling system issues prevented you from booking a flight online. :confused:

    The title of the thread almost makes it sound like UA is scheduling the computer malfunctions. Which is about as accurate anyhow.

    I stand corrected. However, the same day, their website was also malfunctioning severely. Ticketing, bag tracing, multiple computer system issues. But yes, that is different than their crew scheduling. All in all, earlier this week was hellish with UA.
