Not the greatest EQM's unless your *A FF program awards good multipliers (BD for example awards 3x EQM for F), but I was looking around for MR's over thanksgiving from ORD, and noticed UA website has many F options to Germany for $3500. Most of these fares were for thanksgiving day departure, sunday return. Most options allowed for LH out bound TATL and UA metal TATL return. A "cheap" way to experience FCT and get a duck from the lounge.

Miles and More gives you 300% miles on First as well. This is a very good deal.

If the return on UA, FCT is not possible right? I thought FCT is for flight departing on LH.

Fct is just when flying f on LH, correct.

  5. Just in case anyone is still interested in this fare, today is the last day to purchase (it's a 60-day AP). Outbound season is 20NOV11-25NOV11 and return season is 25NOV11-30NOV11. Transatlantic sectors must be marketed by UA and operated by either UA or LH. Books into A class. Confirmed res. required at least 60 days before departure.

Just remember outbound must be from the USA (not from Germany).
