Am thinking about booking flights for June, at this point operated by both CO and UA and also Copa, will get mileage from all segments. YVR IAH PTY MVD/EZE IAH YVR. Does it really make any difference which FF # I use for these flights in June or by that time everything will be merged so it should not make a difference?

By then everything will be one program. It won't matter.

I have a related question. Will be flying on UA7662 end of March. That flight is operated by AER LINGUS. Can I use CO Onepass number on that flight or should I use UA Mileage plus #. I know for sure that I will earn miles on Mileage Plus, but what about Onepass? It does not specify anything on co.com regarding this.

By the end of March there should only be one number. You won't have much choice.

Which probably means its just easiest to use the OP # since that is the one that will stick around.

Agree, I need to start using this number more as I need to somehow start remembering it for the rest of my life;)
