Keeping Up With The Joneses, oops, I mean the Deltas:

Even though the online rules and FAQ don't show it, Nora at the MileagePlus Premier desk tells me that United has renewed for 2016 the policy to waive the U.S. PQD requirement (up to and including 'Premier Platinum') for members who spend $25K in net charges on their UA-Chase branded credit cards. Nora thanked me for bringing the out-of-date website to their attention, filled out a lengthy report while talking to herself and punching her keyboard, and when hanging up the phone said "I'd have no worries." FWIW.

Why not truly copy Delta and make the waiver eligible for 1K as well?

I'd rather they didn't, and keep the riff raff out of 1K.

And 125,000 miles with a $15k (when unwaived) spend requirement

If they copy Delta, they get criticized. If they don't, they get criticized. :)
