MSNBC Overhead Bin: U.S. airlines see decline in revenue from baggage fees

Perhaps hawking AMEX has helped DL get customers to get the card and avoid bag fees...

Don't all the majors now have affinity credit cards that offers a first-bag-free scheme now?

You may be right - I can confirm DL's AMEX (have) and the AA Citi card (don't have, get emails for one often) do so. I have a Chase MP card, but honestly have no idea if it gets me a free bag or not! :)
