Aaaaah... Sitting in the lounge.... and an middle-aged couple put on som kind of "Germain Idol". In the beginning it was quite loud and the lounge staff asked them to turn it down. After some time the lounge staff gave them headsets for the TV. "Nice," I thought. Hahahahaha, I *thought*! And then the real fun started.... They started speaking VERY loud to each other and SINGING! OMG! Can it be worse? :-D

PLEASE, don't turn on the volume on the TV in the lounge....

    Xxx.

    1. Locate black cord in back of television.
    2. Remove cord in a crafty nonchalant manor.
    3. If #1 and #2 fail, pull fire alarm.

I would go so far as to ask why lounges even have tv's. All guest rooms have them, so no one goes without their favorite program, but usually there's only one lounge for everyone to enjoy. Why let a tv intrude upon relaxing conversation, a good breakfast or a relaxing drink?

I like a TV in the lounge so I can get the news while I'm eating breakfast, as long as it isn't the Faux News channel.

I didn't like it so much when I was trying to eat my breakfast in a hotel lounge whilst the television news program showed burned beyond recognition, still smoldering bodies one morn.

I don't find most news programs good companions to eating.
