    http://www.examiner.com/libertarian...female-passenger-to-prove-breast-pump-is-real

This is beginning to get a little silly. If the lechers at the Transportation Security Administration are this eager to score a glimpse of a naked boob, they should just man up and order every female passenger to remove her top.
No more of this pussy-footing around, “accidentally” pulling a woman’s blouse off during a pat-down in public. No more pretending that a female with a “cute figure” needs to pass through the scanner a third time because not all the frat boys in the backroom got a good enough look.

Ah... Lihue... the airport where the TSA guy insisted on recording my name and flight information from the boarding pass after the opt-out pat-down.

I'm more shocked that, according to the article, the TSA accepted responsibility for this. That has got to be a first.

If this trajectory continues, before we know it, they'll be dawning latex gloves and having us "turn our heads and cough" as a part of the screening process.

    Agreed.

These two paragraphs show the ridiculousness of the whole thing:

The agent told her the ice pack would not be allowed through security without milk in the bottles. Strand said the ice pack is specially made for the milk's cooler and would not be easy to replace.
"It really confuses me as to how an empty breast pump and cooler pack are a threat to national security and 20 minutes later, with milk, they no longer pose a threat to national security," Strand said incredulously.

Which is better than having them don latex gloves and then being told to bend over ;)

I don't think anyone is taking this as being funny.

The true problem is the lack of accountability by the TSA. Sure, they admitted wrongdoing here, but other than a slap on the wrist to the screener, there is nothing else that will be done.

The bigger problem is that TSA only accounts for human dignity when it needs to be included in a press release.

This is too true. I wish I had included this statement in my letter to my congresswoman.

We should have a dedicated thread for TSA out-takes.

If she "whipped it out," there is no question the TSA would have summoned a cop and asked she be arrested. Further, the TSA would have been exonerated in their wrongdoing, as it would have been overshadowed by a woman disrobing at a checkpoint.

I wouldn't be surprised if her "whipping it out" is exactly what some of the TSA people wanted....
