    A Kick Starter Project.

Seems a bit "late" as the early discounts are all snapped up but it is interesting to say the least.
This is before shipping price and GPS option if I read it correctly.

Project was looking for funding of USD 50,000 but it had already reached an impressive $924,375.00.

8 more days to do before it closes.

    Highlights
    1) Zipperless
    2) Removable battery + USB charger (Carry-on only)
    3) Built in digital scale :)
    4) "Better" handle
    5) GPS (Optional)
    6) Kickstarter special 5 years (No questions asked) warranty.
    etc.

I actually like this idea :)

They've now raised $982,320.00 with still 7 more days to go from 2,483 backers.

$335 for a GPS enabled carry-on, that seems reasonable enough. With a 15,000mah battery that should handle most anything you throw at it!

How well does GPS work in the bowels of an airplane (or airport)? Do they plan on tracking the paths to/fro the plane only? Also, which data network does it use, and is it available in Timbuktu when my suitcase ends up there?

Wow, that's pretty awesome. Reminds me of an old 3's Company episode where Chrissy's bag is heavier because it's smaller so she has to pack an iron because her close get wrinkled. This doesn't have a built in iron does it?
