At the risk of sounding like an elitist, ignorant American, why on Earth would anyone want to go to Beirut????
We've have been to Beirut, an interesting city. I remember our flight with Royal Jordanian from Amman. A great 3 day holiday, from the culture, the sea and people. We can recommend a visit to this fascinating city. ...BUT BEWARE THE TAXI DRIVER!
