Trouble with UA phone lines - busy, busy, busy

    Does anyone know why the planes seem to takeoff on time, getting through to UA on the phone has become almost impossible. And when you get someone after a hour or so it is the the wrong person (somewhere outside the USA) who then tries to transfer you and you get disconnected.

    Same issue here. The IVR system tries as hard as it can to prevent me from reaching an agent and then when it puts me in the queue I get a busy signal or it just hangs up on me.

    You mean right after the biggest computer transition in the airline industry that they're still backed up from?

    No, no idea.

    About 10 mins after this email I called again and immediately was connected with an sCO agent who solved my issue in about 2 mins. Btw - the sCO IVR system stinks.

    I was disconnected three times twice after 2 hrs on hold and one in middle of changing my booking.

    I keep getting disconnected or a busy signal after an attempted automated transfer. I think I'll set my alarm for 2:00AM and try again later.

    when called the premier line there was 45 min wait so I hung up and 1-800-864-8331 and I was connected to a agent right away.
