As with practically all of these type of lists- some of them I agree with, some of them not at all.

    Nothing radically surprising here.

    Thanks for sharing guinnessxyz!

I'm surprised not to see the Peninsula name somewhere in the top 10.

I think with tripadvisor it really depends on which hotels are getting a lot of reviews by tripadvisor users- which may not correspond with the Pen- although at the moment the only Pen I think that could really be a contender is Hong Kong which also needs a renovation/update (which I think they are getting this year)?

  5. I agree and am always just a little leery about TA ratings because I see a lot of both over the top gushing about certain properties and over the top whining about others because of some perceived slight or one time issue.

Agreed. Whenever I see a hotel with too high of a rating I become suspect.

There are so many best Hotels and Resorts in the world but I want to visit Dubai's luxury 7 star hotels and resorts. Dubai's high rise buildings and hotels are popular in the world. I also wish to visit underwater hotels in Dubai.

Not to be a complete downer- but there are no 7 star hotels in Dubai. Dubai has a number of properties with very agressive marketing. A great starter if you want to get really immersed in the luxury of a hotel is the Four Seasons George V in Paris- a bi level suite is probably as good as it can get.

Exactly, this reminds me of yelp. There are a lot of cheap(er) restaurants that have very high ratings - then you see an expensive Michelin star restaurant that has a lower rating due to value/high expecations.
