    FYI
probably not a good idea to add your 3X in an open post like this as this is how deals get shut down.

if you want some help i'd recommend editing your post to remove the 3X if its not already too late

1st time I see a person buying anything but a Coach fare trying to FD, besides w/o having then flight #s and dates how is anyone suppose to know if a 3x will help out. eg random dates I chose the fare went up with the 3x rather then down and that 3x usually shaves off $300-400 on an Asian Itin

Also, base for the r/t is $2,432 and YQ is only $496 in comparison. Does not look like a good candidate fare?

Thanks guys. I decided to go LAX-CPH in June for $2427. I was able to bring it down to $1869 with a nice 21 hr stop in London on the return. I'll use some GPUs into F, and life will be good for My wife, my kid, and I.

Don't use GPUs on FDed fares! They require a manual reissue!

Thanks. I learned my lesson years ago. I always do it at the airport the day of if I see availability the night before.

Since when can you use GPUs on P or Z fares? My understanding is that GPUs are limited to D and C fares.

How did you possibly bring it down to 1869 when the base fare is $2400? Negative fuel? :)

Ah. Still requires a manual agent reticket though; doesn't it?

Fuel was at $806 and I got it down to $264

Booking my multi-stopovers is proving to be the harder problem. The last time I flew C was on a LAX-ZRH special last year that I got down to about the same price. Flew LH LAX-MUC-ZRH (LH SWU certs did not clear at counter) and back on UA ZRH-IAD-LAX. I was able to have them use an SWU at the ticket counter for the last two F seats available. I sat in C while my 2 yo and wife sat in F.

Beats me, I don't think I needed to re-ticket in ZRH, they just said that I cleared 2 of 3 to F on the PNR because they could not release the Crew rest seat. Didn't take more than a minute for them to do it.
