Its definitely an addiction for me...more of a craving (or is that the same thing?) I think anyone who has ever done a mileage or mattress run have "addictive tendacies"

I generally prefer to avoid the wild boar when I travel except when they are on the dinner menu.

I'm more concerned about being gored by the wild boar. They're little but strong, with sharp horns.

"Gored" as in too much CO2 being produced or the Pamplona version with angry bulls :D

I'm thinking Pamplona and bull fights, but with somewhat smaller critters that taste even better.

Hopefully not this small a critter

Horned gophers are rodents from the genus Ceratogaulus, a member of the extinct fossorial rodent family Mylagaulidae. Ceratogaulus is the only known rodent genus with horns, and is the smallest known horned mammal. Ceratogaulus lived from the late Miocene to the early Pleistocene era.

Despite being from Minnesota now, I have never eaten a horned gopher.

It is amusing to me what a strange direction a thread can take with just a simple incorrectly spelled word in the original post. I love creativity.

However, the real question is, do we bored back to front, window to aisle, or by zone?

As I read this thread, I thought of lots of responses. But my colleagues already used every single one of them - and others I had not thought of. Now take a deep breath and imagine if this was FlyerTalk!:D

I'm a travel addict too. Anyone have a problem where their spouse doesn't feel the same? My wife doesnt feel like taking an international trip this summer where I want to go away.

Compromise and go somewhere far from home but not so far that it's international. :)

My husband and I are going to St Thomas (+ St John and BVI boat trip) on Thursday and it's his first tropical or beach vacation ever. I hope he likes it! I have a standing yearly trip to Oahu to visit a friend of mine and have been to the Caribbean several times, and I'd like to have him enjoy it as well. He's more of a hiking/camping/beer drinking person (all of which I love too!) than a sand/water/rum punch person, so we'll see how this goes.

My suggestion? Find a friend who likes to do the same trips as you do. Go on at least one good trip a year with the spouse, and then do another one (or several) with your friend!

What about taking turns? Go where she wants this year, then go where you want next year. :)
