It's possible this could get orphaned, but not sure of a better place to post it.

At the end of April I had an LX HKG-ZRH F segment and have these pics of the Traveller's Lounge which LX pax are being directed to. CX staff escorted me from the plane to the transfer desk and the lounge, but, at least for the time being, there's no access to the CX lounges. So here are the photos....

While there is food in the F area, it's very limited. Most of the food is in the C lounge space, which you will pass on the way into the F area.

    Continuing with some more photos:

More food in the C area

A great pic of Kai Tak. I normally don't take pics of pics, but this one caught my attention.

Asahi tap in the F area:

Thought I had more pics, but this seems to be it.

There is a cash bar in the C lounge. Drinks will be delivered gratis in the F lounge. The champagne was awful, it was sweet enough to cause diabetes. Showers were OK. There was a massage area near the showers which i did not inquire about to have any further info to give.

Thanks kwai for the update. I have visited the C section of this lounge also- it is not too bad. Certainly, the CX lounges are better- however I think they have restricted LX access during their rennovations? We will see what happens moving forward.

My *A choice at HKG is the TG lounge, which- while small, has great service and is close to the LH gates.

What other carriers use this lounge? I would assume LH F, although there's also a big SQ lounge at HKG which might serve some other *A airlines.

I don't understand your statement about not yet getting access to CX lounges in HKG. Why would you expect this when flying a different alliance unless there's a special agreement?

Up until a few weeks ago (June 1 IIRC), LX used the CX lounges at CX. You received an invitation on checkin for your flight which was good for C or F section of the CX lounges. LH F does not use this lounge- LH uses the * lounges- they direct you to the UA lounge, however the TG is a much better choice IMHO. The SQ lounge isn't open at the hours that the LX flights are operating for departure.

I've used both the SQ and QF lounges at HKG when they weren't full and they were fine but nothing special and unfortunately windowless. I'm trying to remember the lounge NW had when the airport first opened. IIRC it was in the center of the terminal (long walk from gate), upstairs, closed and small but nice. It was an official WC then I think.

AF uses this lounge (their F pax were in the lounge at the same time I was in it waiting for my LX flight).
