Hopefully someone has had this come up already. I know in some countries like Brazil and the UK you can get Travel money cards denominated in various currencies which helps reduce exchange fees. Does anyone know if there are any good ones offered in the US or if it is better to use traveller cheques?

Absolutely though you can see what partnership your Bank has with foreign Banks that have no exchange fees when you withdraw from their ATMs.

For example Bank of America allows fee-free withdrawls from BNP or BNL ATMs in Europe.

    Neither.

Get an ATM card at a bank which doesn't charge transaction or foreign exchange fees. And a CC that doesn't charge f/x either. Use those rather than a pre-paid.

The pre-paid cards don't really reduce the fees; they just front-load them. You're still paying a conversion fee to Travelex (or whoever) when you take dollars and make them into Reals or whatever on the card.
