    You are strongly advised to postpone your travel plans if you plan on traveling to or from the northeastern United States over the next few days, as a blizzard of “historic proportions” is preparing to bear down on this region — especially as most airlines based in the United States serving the region have announced that change fees have been waived. Up to 16 hours of blizzard conditions are expected between Monday evening, January 26, 2015 through Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from just south of the District of Columbia to the Maritime provinces in Canada; and as much as 36 inches of snow are expected to accumulate.
