    The rates are OK, I suppose:
    • 1200 RR2 points -> 1 A+ Credit
    • 1 RR1 Credit -> 1 A+ Credit
    • 1 A+ Credit -> 1 RR1 Credit
    And you can transfer in .25x increments of the above ratios.

    But you cannot convert from A+ credits to points nor does the conversion cause the activity date on the account to reset.

    Could've been better and could've been worse overall.

    So 19,200 RR2 points = 1 A+ credit = 1 RR1 credit?

    This new capability is worth studying in detail. For example, if you have a total of 16 credits or the equivalent (19200 points), you can issue a new Southwest Standard Award, which will reset your expiration date on all 16 credits. Then you can transfer to AirTran and have a full year of life for your credits.
