I am searching airfares for an early March ski trip to a destination-SUN (Sun Valley Id) that's a bit out of the way from New Orleans. Airfares there are always expensive and non-stops are non-existent. I often use Kayak/Yapta to track price drops but that website is showing only a few flights-not nearly as many as I get on Travelocity, Expedia, etc.

Any tips on an efficient way to track price changes to a flight that doesn't show up on the Kayak search engine?

Several travel websites such as Skyscanner allow you to set up alerts on specific routes. They will periodically email you when the prices go up or down, and the alerts expire after your travel dates have passed.

try farecompare.com Or a few similar meta-search engines.
