So I'm getting close to having to book my first international reward flights (I have done a couple Southwest flights but those are baby award bookings compared to these).

I was trying to look for award availability on SQ flight 11 from Tokyo Narita to Singapore. I log on to my KrisFlyer account and it says there is a saver, standard, and full award seat availability for suites class on May 21, 2014. However, when I type in the info for a search on expert flyer, it says that no availability can be found. And that was searching first and business class saver (fare class O and I).

I know I must be doing something wrong here. Is it because I am using the free 5 day trial version?

    Thanks for your help!

Different data sources is my guess. Odds are the EF query you're running is using the UA site for the data and SQ premium cabin inventory doesn't show there. If you're going to book with SQ miles it is different data than what the UA option are.

    That makes sense.

Would I be better off just using the SQ site as my source then? And when I see it show up on the site call in?

Are you going to be booking with Krisflyer miles?

Hi merice107. If you are using KrisFlyer miles then you should only be searching on the KrisFlyer website as SQ routinely makes more award inventory available to KrisFlyer members then that of partner airlines. ExpertFlyer shows the SQ inventory from a partner point of view.

SQ has different inventory for different partners.
