Hello. Folks on this board have been very nice to new EXPs from UA. As I am new to AA, I am not aware of any good values/routes for earning 30K EQMs/EQPs (to get SWUs) before August 31. I think I understand the difference between EQMs/EXPs--unless there is a dynamite deal in Business (I checked and I am not eligible for the BOS-HND DEQM promotion), I will be working for EQMs and doing a lot of flying. I heard about good values from MIA-PTY and other Central American cities and will build one of these into my plans. I travel mainly from WAS or PHL but can do a positioning flight for a good deal. Due to flights already booked, I expect to do one trip in July but the rest of my flying in August. I can do an international trip or two if this is a cost effective approach but I have no SWUs now (although I have 6 on UA!).

Thanks in advance for any tips.
    Cheers, Mary Anne.

If you can I would try to get a couple flights in before the end of deq11 promo. Hard to top double RDM and EQM. Or double EQM for BOS/DFW. AA did have some great deals in business out of MIA to PEK like $1600rt but those sales are done. But I'll keep my eye out for you.

Thanks! When does the DEQ 11 promo end and what are the restrictions. I did register for the BOS/DFW promo so will need to snatch a few flights.

    I really appreciate your help!!

DEQ11 has residency restrictions, so unless you live in CA, IL, or TX you won't be eligible, and since you mentioned you fly mostly out of PHL and WAS I'm guessing you are an East Coast resident. Just in case you do qualify, the promo is done June 30.

    Any time. :)

It's not a perfect MR but AA has been posting some $500 a/i-ish fares from cities in the US to MAO lately. Might be worth a look if you have a Brazilian visa.
