i miss the thumbs up emoticon.
particularly in a friendly place, it's an emoticon worth having.
What's the easiest way to add the thumbs up?
Cheat and refer to an image that you find online. I copied mine from another flyer related forum.
oooh, you're a smarty pants...but i can't figure out how to do that.
You can click on the "Insert/edit image" icon and put in:
Too much work. Agree with KK it would be nice to have one here using ^^ because we do want to make it easy to applaud good things.
I think they (whoever "they" is) might want us to use the like feature rather than quoting a post & adding a thumbs up.
But I agree - missed seeing the thumbs up in the list of emoticons. I was also hoping for a "puke" smiley though it might not encourage the friendly environment we're going for.
Didn't think of that. You're right.
But you didn't "like" my post. :'(
(Or do you also want a "puke" smiley?)
Yes, I think it's a necessary 'tool' here!
There's no requirement to manifest something 'original' here!
And in case you like to roll your eyes "the old way" ...
Michi!! Should have recognized your Avatar. Glad you're here
Oxymoron alert: A puke smiley (?!) would be quite useful in a friendly envrionment. I have friends who puke, don't you?
Well, I "liked" your post twice and quoted your post hoping to move you on to Original Member status. You're very close I think.
just a test
Yes, but the thumbs-up and thumbs-down was often used to indicate how we felt about the circumstances we related in our own posts. If an airline did something nice for us, we would tell the story and then post a thumbs-up. If they did something not-so-nice, we would say what happened and add the thumbs-down.
Since were starting from scratch....
What about the Original smileys that we were so dissapointed with when they went away?
Agree that a thumbs up is a needed icon!
