We've only stayed at the Park Hyatt there, but not only was it impeccably clean, the service was second to none. It is my wife's favorite hotel out of our extensive travels.

Currently at the Tokyo Hilton. Concur on all the statement! The Toto toliets, that wash, buff, shine, and blow-dry are a hoot ;)

It is not just their hotels. In general, Japan is clean. Streets, buses, buildings etc.

I totally agree with you. Japan is a clean, beautiful, and safe place for tourists.
Kyoto and Hokkaido are my favorites .
