I had 3 nts stay last week but due to SPG # error, my Platinum status wasn't properly acknowledged during the check-in. I have at least one more stay so I will wait and see...

So far my impression is that the physical aspect of the property is better than other Guam hotels (Hilton & Hyatt) but the service is lacking especially its lounge, the Royal Beach Club Lounge.

In mean while you can browse the pictures I took - https://picasaweb.google.com/dshahn96/WestinGuam?feat=directlink

I wouldn't make an effort to come to Guam unless you are into the diving and 5-6 days is too long for Guam. The island is full with Japanese and Korean tourists due to close proximity to two countries; it only 3.5 hrs.

You can drive around the island in half day. Beside the Tumon Bay and some historical monuments, not much there. I heard some people describing it as cheaper version/ghetto version of Hawaii. If you are Platinum, try Sheraton Laguna Guam. Even though it lacks beach and the facilities are poorer shape than Westin, it treats Platinum well (based on my one stay). I'll upload Sheraton pictures later.

Having lived on Guam for two years, I'd recommend passing. IMO, there are other, more interesting destinations to head to if you are willing to travel that far. If you planning for a stopover, just a couple of days should suffice.

OK the second stay went better. One of the Sr RBC staff recognized me from the previous visit and was very accommodating; he even knew about my next stay. As a Platinum, I was checked-in at the Royal Beach Club (RBC) on 21st floor. I was given a RBC wrist band which I assume it allows me to access beach cabanas (a benefit of RBC). I was given ocean view room facing north of the bay on 18th floor (which is designated SPG floor). It looks like SPG rooms get extra bottles of water and fruits as welcome gift. BTW the Platinum welcome gift was cookies unlike other Guam properties. Cookies are addition to official amenity choices; $5 food & beverage credit, golf balls or 500 pts.

One thing about AC, there is a switch that you insert your room key into for AC to work. Sheraton Guam has same setup.

I haven't tried any of its restaurants but there are restaurants and convenient stores nearby.

Overall, it's OK hotel and I prefer Sheraton since it treats Platinum members better and the lounge offering is much better at Sheraton too.
Lastly, I had to ask to remove internet charges during the check-out both times and

    P.S. I uploaded more pictures https://picasaweb.google.com/dshahn96/WestinGuam?feat=directlink

P.P.S. Can we add Master Thread to the thread title?

I thought the thread starter could do this on their own. If not, you might want to contact someone at MilePoint for assistance.
