    The world record for the fastest time of completing 7 organized marathons on 7 continents is 25 days, though many people have now run solo events on 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days. To do 7 organized marathons on 7 continents in 7 days was just not possible due to the logistics of finding actual marathons in that timeframe that would work with flights. UNTIL NOW! One of the marathon tour groups, Marathon Adventures, is putting on an event, for the very first time, in 2015 that will give runners that chance to make history together. The Triple 7 Quest As one who ran 5 solo marathons on 5 continents in 5 days (missing the 6th because of logistical problems in Cairo), I can tell you that it is not an easy experience! The travel alone can make you exhausted (I flew over 40,000 miles in that timeframe) and then you are running 26.2 miles every day – without sleeping in a bed!
