We couldn't do this on FT! So lets do it here!
My avatar is from my location on FT (YYC, not the centre of the universe). Here, I made YYC the centre of the universe! (from www.gcmap.com)
A similar thread may be found here:
I think it is incredibly obvious...ne c'est pas?
Yes, but it'd be nice to do this (quickly) on the AC forum too...
I just like the Suit.
It looks like one of those masks used for bank robberies!!!
It's my company logo
Because it's how I feel when I look in the mirror most days.
It's me last New Year's Eve...but I will think of something else when the site goes public.
Photo from the Great Wall at Badaling when I was at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. There's thousands marching up the hills behind me (which is why I went in the opposite direction).
Mine is a composite image of the Cay's Eye Nebula from NASA.
He's the last true classic rock artist and has been my favourite
for some 25 years now- seen him in concert 5 times (once in row 2!)
It is a seascape along the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.
That is a suit?
Bru, a now departed bull terrier......the terror of the town......my neighbors best friend!
Taken on my Mt. Fuji climb, August 2010
I'm planning to rotate photos from my travels (sorry for any confusion that may cause!) maybe once a month -- this one is of the entrance to Keio University in Tokyo.
I am also considering the same plan. I have so many great photos of my trips.
Exactly -- it seems a shame to not use more than one!
And maybe it'll give us an opportunity for a monthly identify-the-avatar contest!
We'll be the judge of that!
No surprise - it's a depiction of the handle: PtsHawg but some would say the pic bears a fair resemblance to me sometimes (lol)
That would be impossible! Can't imagine...
Perhaps more figuratively than literally...
My spectacular avatar symbolizes the safety procedure during an emergency landing that requires the use of an emergency exit.
It also symbolizes my desire to rob a bank and use an airplane as my getaway vehicle. Sayonara suckers!
edit: I just noticed the sever leg muscle atrophy for my poor avatar. Not sure what to make of that. Clearly he's been sitting on the plane for far too long.
