Actually, Flightfox is not so new — and there is even a version of it right here on milepoint.com.
It's a new thing for milepoint, though, yes?
If you consider greater than a month as new, then yes.
Logging in, and clicking on Forums, I see what appears to be an ad for Flightfox that I hadn't noticed before. A new partner? Not registered in Concourse Z, though. Discovery does yield posts greater than a month, so no, not a new thing in that regard.
We launched Flightfox earlier this year, but are a relatively new partner with Milepoint (not yet fully launched to all MP members).
Noted. And thanks for dropping by.
I just singed up with flightfox after I saw the link on mile point. Save your money and stay away from it. They use Expedia and kayak and charge you $40-$50 up front. I'm very disappointed with milepoint for promoting this services.
Having someone else do all the work and not learning the ins and outs yourself does seem to be the antithesis of Milepoint. But I am sure Milepoint is making a few dollars from their 'promotion'.
Some on MP don't have quite the experience or time to do this kind've work/planning and might appreciate something like Firefox. I get plenty of benefits from being a member here and reading the posts, w/out doing it all myself... That said, I've never used or even explored Firefox, and do do most of my booking/planning myself
I have caught myself committing the same error...
To be fare with the company. I filed a complain and received 100% refunded.
Does this work for award travel flights as well?
Yup but honestly it's a bum deal.
It might be an option for rich and busy people
I've tried it three times and was able to beat the optimizers price each time. They have a horrible policy that I can request a refund and nobody that put work into my itinerary gets paid, resulting in a lot of 15 min research jobs. Has the promise though.
