    Earlier this year, Wyndham announced that they were making changes to their award redemption program for their family of hotels. They were going from the common tiered system to a flat 15,000 point rate for the hotels. That means that the higher end Wyndham properties will drop from 50,000 points to 15,000 points. It also means that Knights Inn, Super 8, Howard Johnsons, etc will increase from the 5,500 point level to the new 15,000 points. The former Wyndham credit card from Barclaycard was for 30,000 points (for the Signature card) and 12,000 points (for the Platinum card). The Signature card had an anniversary bonus of 5,500 points.
