The new, cuddly, customer-loving Ryanair

    I've written a post today on Ryanair's recent attempts to be nice to customers, which I hope may be of interest to some milepointers.

    A step in the right direction, certainly, but don't be fooled into thinking Ryanair aren't still trying to make as much money as they can from you. This action comes after a drop in profits, and clearly the belief is that there's more money to be made from happy (or at least not angry) customers.

    My assessment is still be wary before you purchase a Ryanair flight, and of course add up all the hidden costs (including getting to/from the far-flung airport) before you commit to the flight. However, if you can get a great deal with them, these improvements clearly give you another reason to go ahead and book it.
