    According to Scott McCartney in today's Wall Street Journal, the most delayed flight routes in the U.S. are (in descending order):

    Origin - Destination (% flights not arriving on time)

    1. ORD - TYS (44.1%)
    2. ORD - ICT
    3. DEN - ASE
    4. ORD - BHM
    5. DSM - ORD
    6. ORD - LAN
    7. LIT - ORD
    8. ORD - COS
    9. ORD - LNK
    10. ORD - OKC (42.3%)

    I would have thought that a flight originating from EWR would have made the list.

    I was surprised that there was a single non-ORD flight on the list! ;)

    ORD is either unlucky on the flight delays or really have some sh*t to fix on their end.

    I'm more inclined to go with the latter.

    FWIW, they also often have very bad weather to contend with. I'm always amazed when travelers on a cancelled flight to ORD during a winter storm have the cojones to complain to the airline that their flight was cancelled "only" due to weather!

    Ord-tys is terrible, even when conditions are fine. Den-ase has major weather issues to contend with.

    Have had weather issues many times with DEN-COS, especially those high winds that kick up in the Colorado Rockies!
