At the first KivaDo, I introduced something new in recognition — a custom livery of a 777 model for the Kiva Lending Team. One was presented to canucklehead for his extraordinary leadership in creating the KivaDo, a second was presented to jbcarioca for 'Leadership in Lending' as well as his role with canucklehead in creating the KivaDo and a third to both horseguy and Mrs. horseguy for similar 'Leadership in Lending' roles. Each 18 inch model has a unique tail number and is hand carved from the finest Philippine Mahogany then custom painted and sealed to last for generations. Here's the plane:

That's a really cool plane. I guess I am going to have to start lending more so I can get one. :)

I'm impressed that it is hand carved. Did you purchase it yourself on location or did a vendor set it up?

I wondered how you could have had the plane made in an affordable fashion, manual labor/painting makes sense now.

    Looks awesome!

Next goal: Persuade an airline to paint this livery on one of their planes :D

Come visit! I have displayed mine to my colleagues at a client I visited right after the DO. I signed up seven new members to MP and The MP KLT on the spot. Maybe I should just carry it with me as a sign-up tool! It certainly is a spectacular gift! Thanks Randy and MilePoint!
