When Milepoint states that a minimum 10% of every purchase of our Premium Membership benefit program goes toward charities and helping others, we really do mean that and in fact our members helping others goes well beyond 10%. So far from the recent P2 program the giving footprint exceeds $40,000 toward helping others. Here's just a few examples of over 100 donations we've made on behalf of Milepoint and its members: Domestic abuse around the globe was a key recipient this year along with continued support for Cancer research and cancer support for those affected. Among other initiatives supported were Kevlar vests for K9 police dogs and we picked up meal tabs for many uniform military service members. As well, we donated free flights to a "Home For The Holidays" campaign—one of the free flights involved flying an enlisted military service man home to visit his parents in the 72 hours of special leave he had during his first Christmas in the USMC. And another free flight we arranged was in cahoots with a mother and her daughters boyfriend who is currently training in Special Ops in the military ... during the 48 hours of visit by the daughter the boyfriend is "popping the question".
