Idaho’s not the first place you think of when it comes to craft beers or craft distilleries, but Bardenay is out to change that. The Idaho mini-chain purports to be the nation’s first restaurant distillery, which means they make booze on-site while you eat calamari. After opening locations all over Idaho (Boise, Eagle, Coeur d’Alene), they’re now set to open at Boise Airport on May 20th. Expect Northwest cuisine, a great wine selection, local beers, and cocktails made from Bardenay’s own spirits. Based on the menu, it looks like a great stop to hit before you say goodbye to the Potato State.
