|| The Alfond: A Non-Disney Focused Hotel, Comes To Orlando Area ||
Photo above shows nice Moorish-style architecture!
The Peabody in Orlando, IIRC close to their convention center, is a more adult hotel in Orlando except for the duck parades which are fun for everyone to watch.
The Peabody becomes a Hyatt on Oct 1st and the ducks go to a farm.
Sad, but true, about the ducks, would love that they parade further at this hotel.
Indeed, Hyatt has bought the Peabody Orlando, the ducks move on from the hotel, no more duck parades there at this property.
Feels like fresh wind for the Orlando area, something different from the other hotels on offer. Indeed, beautiful architecture, I believe this new hotel will find a lot fans who are looking for something different.
That's sad. I hope Hyatt didn't serve the ducks for dinner!
Here is the official Hyatt statement which was published earlier on MP:
So the ducks are no longer welcome. I wonder what happened to the duck master.
He maybe is re-employed within Peabody? Could be, couldn't it? At least we hope so.
That would require a move to Memphis, where they probably have an entrenched duck master (and a different set of ducks).
