    The moment we have all been waiting for… the combination of the American Airlines AAdvantage program and the US Airways Dividend Miles program. The 2015 American Airlines AAdvantage program has been on every American and US Airways elite members mind since the merger was legally finalized in 2013. The ‘new‘ American has finally announced how the combined program will look like, and for the most part, it looks like the AAdvantage program will have little change. No dollar requirement will be implemented for the 2015 elite status qualification year. Top changes in the combined AAdvantage program: 3 elite status levels: Gold, Platinum and Executive Platinum; 500-mile upgrade stickers (complimentary on flights under 500 miles, e500 stickers elsewhere); 50% bonus miles on purchased business class tickets; Complimentary same-day flight change on American Airlines for Executive Platinum members; 120 segments to qualify for Executive Platinum instead of 100; 100% mileage bonus miles for Gold and Platinum Dividend Miles members, stays the same for AAdvantage members; and The AAdvantage and US Airways Dividend Miles program will combine in the second quarter of 2015; How to qualify for AAdvantage elite status in 2015: Upgrades under the 2015 AAdvantage program: American Airlines flights: US Airways [...]
