    The US Airways Mastercard has long been one of the best cards to get for quick miles – make one purchase and get 40,000 miles (or 50,000, as it was before). Things have changed a bit over the last year and that includes the annual fee not being waived the first year anymore and no longer coming with a 10,000 mile anniversary bonus. But, the good news out from Barclaycard is that the anniversary bonus will continue, even after the merger takes place! There was a lot of speculation as to when that bonus would expire but it is great to finally hear that it will remain. Yes, the annual fee of $89 will still be in effect, but that means you are essentially buying US Airway miles (and AA miles after the merger) at a rate of $.0089 per mile (for the 10,000). That is a great deal – just don’t ever cancel because they will stop taking applications for the card in the next year. Also, the current offer...
