Another unscheduled change of equipment ... as reported by Thaivisa.com:
Let's hope they get back to normal. I've got some award flights intra-Asia mid December.
for travel in BKK or just routing through? The flooding looked extensive in Bangkok, I'd be curious to know how up & running the city is for tourists.
Seems like the nation can't catch many breaks. First the Red Shirt occupations at the capital in 2010 and then floodings wreaking havoc the 2nd half of this year.
True, and I vaguely remember the Yellow/Red shirt conflicts had started much earlier, 2009? Sad really
Just arrived in BKK on TG402 from SIN. Flight was reasonably full, 25/30 in J, although only 3 (including me) got off at BKK. No queue whatsoever at immigration, so there was no need to use the Fast Track pass given onboard. The baggage claim area and arrival hall were also eerily quiet. It was all quite a sad scene hopefully the tourism can recover soon.
Coincidentally, I just posted the following thread ... please feel free to review and comment: What's Up with Thailand?: A Recent History
Just connecting. Don't have plans to stay overnight for another 6 months or so.
