As a transborder traveller, the costs can often be pretty high! I have noticed a few improvements and occasions when prices are cheaper from EWR-YYZ, but the new all-in pricing and the re-entry of WS back to the LGA-YYZ market means some pretty low fares (and serious competition!)

Westjet will begin flying this route on June 4th and they are having a seat sale. Naturally, Air Canada will match and the flights can be had for as low as $194.

WS' sale ends on Feb 15th, so I suspect AC's will also conclude at this time. Sale fares are from June 4th to Aug 29th.

Do you have some Avios hanging about that can be used for these travels?

They seem to be. RT is 9000 Avios + $ 57.65.
