Ok, for you people on here that are really good at looking at airfares/taxes. This is the breakdown of my airfare and fees paid, booked on UA with first segment on CO, does it seem that as you look at all 18 fees and taxes that I may have paid double for this?

    Canadian Security Charge: 25.91
    Peru Airport Departure Tax: 30.80
    Peru Tourism Tax : 15.00
    Canada Airport Improvement Fee: 15.00
    U.S. Immigration User Fee: 14.00
    U.S. APHIS User Fee: 10.00
    September 11th Security Fee: 7.50
    Canada Harmonized Sales Tax: 1.80
    U.S. Passenger Facility Charge: 4.50
    Canadian Security Charge: 25.91
    Peru Airport Departure Tax: 30.80
    Peru Tourism Tax : 15.00
    Canada Airport Improvement Fee: 15.00
    U.S. Immigration User Fee: 14.00
    U.S. APHIS User Fee: 10.00
    September 11th Security Fee: 7.50

I added up the first set of taxes which rounds off to about $119. That plus the fare of $890 comes to about $1,009, which is about what you paid. You didn't get double-charged.

Yes, just took another look, and your right. I guess they just should the taxes twice because what I paid and the total taxes at the bottom are not the same. On UA it shows total taxes of $124.51, but on the CO web site it states I paid $249.02 which I did not. The CO web site seems to show the same taxes twice instead of once. Problem solved.
