If I book a Hyatt suite in aruba using points (33,000/night), do i still pay the taxes and fees? I'm trying to figure out my cents/point right now.

Typically, those are presumed to have been included in setting room rates in points. Taxes would be assessed on any cash that you spend on the property, i.e., on the incidentals.

Been a while since I visited AUA but this tends to be true unless there's a local occupancy fee (not tax); have more than a few Hyatt awards requiring a fee of a few dollars.
