Target or generic?

    Hey....So my wife got an offer from citi for their thank you card 50,000 points after 3000 spend in 3 months...I've seen same card but with 2500 spend online...Does it matter in this case and more importantly in general, if you apply for the "targeted" offer (in this case worse than public)? Is she more/less likely to get approved for one over the other?

    No, there's no harm in applying for an offer better than the one in for which you were targeted. Most likely that's such a minor difference that it won't make any difference in her chances of approval. Of course, you both should take screen shots and HMMV.
