I could not find a thread on this- if there is I apologize:

I am flying transpac on the last day of a month that my SWU expires. ie, 11/11 SWU and I depart 11/30 and arrive in Asia 12/1...so by the time I get to Tokyo for my onward UA metal flight, *technically* the SWU is past date- however, the itinerary started while it was still valid-

IIRC, I did this once before and it didn't/it shouldn't matter- if you apply the SWU to a single leg of an itin starting on or before the expire date of an SWU it covers all legs of that itin. Am I recalling correctly?

Thanks friendly MP'rs for any experience or info.

The SWU would be deducted and used on 11/30 so it should be valid provided you are on an onward connection.
