Suite Upgrade Use Procedure

    Good morning all.
    Question for you about using a suite a upgrade. Seems you book the regular rate. They then send you a change of rate to the suite full price then they're supposed to apply the upgrade and resend the proper booked rate with the suite upgrade included.

    How long should I wait between steps 2 and 3 before I get concerned enough to look into ensuring the process is still moving and i'm not facing paying cash rates for a suite?

    I've found that it takes anywhere from two to eight hours. I did the same yesterday evening and the "sweep" (your step three) completed by midnight. YMMV.

    This always worries me and always works out fine. I feel like I've had to wait until the next day once or twice. But it's always worked out just fine for me.

    Currently over the 72 hour mark. That's why i was wondering.

    Call the Diamond line and make them take care of it.

    Last one I used I had the email before she hung up with me, I also had them check another property too. They have always told me they will resend the confirmation email too

    Worked flawlessly for me but never actually got the confirmation email.

    I called the Diamond line and applied the cert and when I checked they had updated my account with the reservation info showing a suite. Never got the email about the new one or new rate however, it was just on the site.

    I just called about it. Finally had time. They never applied the suite, just changed the rate. So this person was able to fix it. it means they're taking the upgrade out of my account, but i'd rather do that than pay the higher rate.
