Had posted this in the Beta feedback but think it got deleted.

When browsing gleff's awesome trip report
    http://milepoint.com/forums/threads...-a-suite-villa-and-incredible-food-porn.4234/
I noted some of the pics were shrunken very slightly for display (example copied from report).

I quite like this functionality but think for ease of readability it would be better to have the max picture width (as I assume the setting is) even half the size.

I do note that this does not save bandwidth as the original picture is loaded.

Would be really really good if MiP could somehow auto-generate low bandwidth thumbnails (eg like these manually linked examples - but these are a pain to code when writing a trip report.
(Pics are from the former MIA Terminal E AA Flagship)

    Good suggestion.
Also, in the upload process, it should have a statement of max file size and pixel width size.

There is an option in the upload a file tool to put a thumbnail; I haven't checked to see if it's a real thumbnail, or if it pre-loads the full image.

I agree ... several times I have gotten a message that the photo is too large ... however, the max sizes have never been shown to the user who is uploading [IMG]
