Sudden Reduction in MileagePlus account balance

    Just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with United suddenly changing your account balance. I checked my account about two weeks ago and then again a few days ago and found my balance was reduced by about 20,000 miles. No transactions were noted in my activity detail. I sent an email 10 days ago to inquire and so far no response from United.

    They did some corrections over the weekend. Was your total correct before?

    Hard for me to know (my totals having been correct both before and after), but there were sweeps done over the weekend. This fixed some people's accounts.
