Still possibility of a Virgin buy-out?

    Well, that's what VS is saying to LH!

    It is a decent negotiating point, though. What LH has to weigh up is whether the risk of hassles from an IAG acquisition is worth dealing with in order to get a further £50m+ for BD (if the rumoured numbers are anywhere near accurate).

    The other interesting thing, if true, is that EY is not interested in backing this. EY backing is one thing which would have made the competition very interesting indeed.

    This is Virgin and Branson at their nasty best. Knowing full well they do not have the financial resources to match IAG they resort to using underhand tactics instead.
    Threatening to delay the IAG buy out by squealing from the roof tops about unfair competition they hope LH will accept a lower bid instead. It's farcical to be honest.

    IAG have it all wrapped up....make no mistake.
