I sent an email to PriorityClub requesting a status match to Hilton about 2 weeks ago and have not received a reply. Should I continue to wait or try and contact them again?

Keep in mind PC is very slow to respond to emails. I'd give it couple more days.

They don't like to respond but if you bug them enough I've had good success with it.

I just submitted a point discrepancy request on line and it say the will get back to you in 3 days.
Shortly after, I got an auto response email that says it make take up to 10 days.
Like I said before they can be slow.

Don't wait any longer; send a follow up. I had to do the same.

It took until yesterday, but they finally matched me - and in the email saying it was done informed me I have to complete the minimum number of stays for platinum by December of this year if I want to keep it. Seriously, 10 nights a month for the next 5 months seems a bit much!

Recall that PriorityClub considers points earned from all sources including mileage mall and bonuses as qualifying for status - before I got the Chase credit card and increased my stay numbers, I used to joke that I was a "PriorityClub Platinum due to OfficeMax purchases".

The email specifically states number of stays. With my travel plans for the rest of the year I will lose the status as their properties aren't very convenient for me. But with as long as it takes them to respond, and my annoyance as to the unreasonable amount of stays they are asking of me, I have to say I don't think I really care. I will focus on Marriott and Hilton instead.

You can be pretty sure that almost nobody stays 50 or 60 nights to earn platinum, with priority club. I average about 30 nights a year and have been Platinum for the last 12 years. I earned platinum this year before Feb, 15th. So far with all he bonus's, the double points, weekend stay, X get X, promos, etc.. I have only stayed 20 nights and earned 187K points. that's over 9K points a night, you could be platinum in under 10 nights. And if you use shopping, dining, and or a PC credit card even quicker.
