    Priced out in the VA are rates are in the $112 range for non a Sheridan in Alexandria or an Aloft in Richmond - doesn't look like a huge markup for me. It appeared the meal was breakfast. VA wine is not cheap/cheap so your bottle of wine probably is valued at $10-$20.

    Reserve a weekend stay and treat yourself to a romantic getaway with that special someone. Stay through April 1, 2012 to receive:
    * Upgraded accommodations
    * Delectable dining for two
    * Complimentary bottle of VA wine
    * Late checkout
    * A special keepsake to remember your trip

    Is the late checkout guaranteed or on an if available basis? Similarly for the upgrade? If so, ther sounds like a pretty good deal for nonelites. However, to call breakfast dining seems to be a stretch.

    (based on availability)
    Some other hotels have dinning credit for $20-50, but a lot seem to be doing breakfast.

    Was at the Sheraton Dulles for $50 last weekend. As a Plt that makes it ~$50 for a keepsake and VA wine. Ouch! Now the Westin Dulles for $89 and a $30 dining credit is much better since Plts get free breakie here anyways.

    Cheers
